Save your Railway
In the continuing campaign to protect our railways from the profit greedy privateers, RMT Bristol and the Bristol Trades Council have organised events in Bristol.
On Monday 28th May we will be leafletting Bristol Stations during the morning peak to get our message over to the travelling public.
On Thursday 31st May we will be holding a public meeting at The Council House, Bristol, starting at 7pm to publicise the impending cuts that the Government Command paper and the McNulty report are trying to implement.
There is little doubt that this government wants to make the railways cheaper to the Treasury by slashing Booking Office, Station, Catering and Guards jobs whilst protecting the massive profits of the private railway operators. These are your jobs and this is your railway. Please fight to protect what is yours before it is too late.
